This flagship event of the Department of Medicine highlights the outstanding research conducted over the past year by more than 90 graduate students, 30 postdoctoral fellows, and 290 residents.

About Me2 (Sumit) Majumdar
Dr. Me2 (Sumit) Majumdar was an exceptional and caring clinician, an outstanding educator, and a brilliant researcher. During his academic career, Dr. Majumdar brought more than $30 million in peer-reviewed funding to the University of Alberta for his work on both knowledge translation theory and controlled intervention and outcomes studies in the areas of osteoporosis and type 2 diabetes mellitus. Dr. Majumdar published over 300 peer-reviewed articles, many in top-ranked medical journals, and was recognized internationally for his work.
