Ways to Give

Dean’s Law Fund

The Faculty of Law’s Experiential Learning in Law fund will provide students with diverse opportunities to develop practical competencies, including legal drafting, client interviewing skills, and advocacy, while supporting increasing access to legal services to communities that typically lack access to justice. The faculty’s experiential learning programming will allow students to explore a variety of areas of law and possible career paths, while building lifelong connections with mentors and colleagues in the legal community, setting them up for success in the profession.

Faculty of Law Bursary Fund

Donations to this fund support law students with financial need that may have barriers to accessing the program, and may also require support to be able to complete their studies. Give back to support the next generation of lawyers!

Law Excellence Endowment Fund

Donations to The Law Excellence Endowment help the faculty support students and their learning, develop innovative programming, and react to the changing needs of the broader community. Funds are allocated at the discretion of the Dean of the Faculty of Law.

Michael O'Boyle Mental Health & Wellness Endowment

In addition to teaching our students the knowledge and skills they will need to thrive in their professional careers, our goal is to help build community among our students and to equip them with the tools to successfully cope with the demands of law school and the profession in the future. By supporting student mental health through the Michael O'Boyle Mental Health and Wellness Endowment Fund, you will be helping to ensure that students are set up for success both during their studies and in their future careers.

Moot Court Program

Participation in a competitive moot is a major opportunity for students to develop their skills, confidence and knowledge. Mooting offers one-on-one intensive coaching and evaluation by peers, faculty, senior lawyers and the judiciary. Final rounds of the national competitions are often judged by Supreme Court of Canada Justices. Support this growing program at the Faculty of Law!
